IC Information:
Name: Lust
Fandom: Fullmetal Alchemist
Timeline: Episode 50, Death, Just before she and Edward fight Sloth and Wrath.
Age: Over 250 years old, though visibly she looks to be in her mid 20's.
Appearance: Picture here.
She looks to be around her 20's, but she's actually much older. She is tall, curvy, beautiful, and deadly. The ouroborus tattoo rests on the center of her chest. She has the same purple eyes as the rest of the homunculi and has long, wavy black hair.
Abilities:
Lust is a homunculus with the given title of the Ultimate Spear. This name was given on the account that she can extend her fingers to great lengths with such strength, that they can cut and pierce virtually anything and everything. Though she does not seem very lascivious, she uses her looks and intelligence to make people follow their desires, which most of the time meant leading alchemists to pursue the Philosopher's Stone. With this, she and the other homunculi could become human with the aid of an alchemist.

Lust has the usual Homunculus abilities of incredible longevity, astonishing regenerative capabilities, and a great resistance to death that borders on immortality.
Personality:
Calm, cold and collected, Lust is arguably the most level-headed of the humonculi. Approaching each new task, she carries an air of confidence and intimidation about her. To her, it's a matter of business, and she regrets nothing she does if it means achieving her goal. Arguably the coldest of the humonculi, she feels absolutely no remorse when causing bloodshed among humans. She considers them pathetic fools, driven with useless emotions. She considers herself above them, claiming that the homunculi are the next wave of humanity. That is not to say she does not understand why they act on emotions, merely that she finds no benefit to them. Granted, if they get the best of her, she admits it, giving them some respect, though that's not necessarily a good thing. She will come back, as expected given her drive, and she will get the job done by any means.

Around the other homunculi, she allows herself to become a bit more playful. She has a soft spot for Gluttony, treating him as an affection pet. He means more to her than she lets on, which fuels her near unending patience for him and his ever-lasting cravings to feed on humans, dead or alive. Though, as Gluttony shares the same affection towards Lust, he listens when she commands him to restrain himself and even allows her to use him as a chair. (It's quite cute really.) She has a tendency of mocking Envy, the oldest of the homunculi, triggering his tempter, much like a sister would do to a brother. She does in fact do this because she adores him, though she does well to hide that fact. The same can be said for her relationship with Sloth and Wrath, often teasing the both of them in one way or another, but never going so far as to harm them. The only homunculus Lust doesn't seem to like is Greed, for he betrayed them and Father, taking his own path and not at all caring about their goal at achieving humanity.

When dealing with humans, she is cruel and sadistic, toying with them and their emotions and clearly finding joy out of doing so. She openly mocks them and complains about their habits of causing wars and genocide, finding it one of their many flaws. Her sick, demeaning sense of humor knows no bounds, and it is often the humans that recieve the imidiate blow.

After 250 of existance, she's conned people repeatedly into causing massive rebillions, bloodshed and violence. She is exceptionally observant and quick minded. She can deduce many things with a few obversations, and she rarely misses anything.

Unlike the other sins name sake, Lust isn't a sexual person. Though she may look the part, that's not really Lust. The only manner in which Lust is sexual is blood lust, where she literally gets off on killing others, licking the blood off her fingers in a suggestive manner. She takes great pride in being a humoncuus, sometimes underestimating humans because of this. She truly thinks that they will never escape her vicious cycle of bloodshed and chaos, though there are some that have managed to do just that.

History:
A homunculus is a soulless being created from an alchemist's failed attempt at human transmutation, a taboo in their world. Lust is one of seven of these cursed beings, subjected to this life not through her own choice, but through that of a heartbroken Ishbalan who had to witness the love of his life die before him.

In despair, he went against all of Ishbala's teachings and turned to what they called the Grand Archanum, also known as Alchemy, to bring her back from the dead. In his attempts, he failed at bringing her back, instead creating a grotesque monstrocity which only served to drive him into madness.

Not long after the Ishbalan abandoned his home, Dante, a gifted alchemist, sent Envy, the oldest of the homunculi, to retrieve Lust. Feeding her false Philosopher's Stones, she eventually took a human shape, much like her brethren, whom she met soon after.

It was soon after that she was sent out into the field, often accompanied by Gluttony, to create conention and strife, spreading diseases for example, to wipe out human lives in hopes of finding an alchemist strong enough to conture a true Philosopher's Stone. With this stone, she and the other homunculi could become human. This was the goal of the homunculi, to finally gain a soul of their own. Irony serves well here, for although Lust despised humans, she was arguably the one homunculi that wanted to be human most, above all others.

During one such field mission in Lior, a desert town, she comes to obverse Edward and Alphonse Elric, two very gifted alchemists also in search for the stone, though for different reasons. Like the skilled manipulator she was, she kept to the background, using the "holy man" Cornello to achieve her goals. Having given Cornello a false philosopher's stone, she commanded him to eliminate the boys, thinking then that they would only get in the way. When she learned that they themselved were looking for the stone, abliet for alternate reasons, she began leading them closer and closer to the solution, though, again, all while staying in the background. After all, Edward never learned Lust's identity until they met again in Lior, years after he seemingly saved the people from Cornello's grasp.

She is seen again multiple times, but it is in Laboratory 5 that things are once again interesting. The Elric's broke into the facility, learning that the condemned criminals from the prison across the street were possibily being used to make fake philosopher's stones. While Ed made his way inside, Alphonse was attacked, but saved by a man named Scar, an Ishabalan claiming that it was god's will that he use his powers to kill state alchemists such as Edward, whom he was hunting at the time. While inside, Edward was presented by the Homunculi a chance to make a Philosopher's Stone. All he had to do was use the humans held in the room above and sacrifice them to make the stone. He refused, which incidently caused Scar to spare his life in a fight that followed shortly after.

While ruthless throughout most of the series, caring little for humanity, she changes near the end during the Lior incident as she begins to recover some memories of her life as a human. She softens particularly towards Scar, who happens to be the brother of the Ishbalan that attempted to resurrect his lost love, and the Elrics. But her involvement was reckless, leading the Elric's to escape through use of a locket containing strands of hair from the woman she once "was". This prevented her from taking action, and as such raised doubts about her loyalty to the rest of the homunculi and Dante.

Shortly after this incident, she was taken to Dante and was given a chance to redeem herself. She was to help Wrath take out Edward while Sloth abducted Al who now carried the newly formed Philosopher's Stone within his armor body. During this time, she learned that Dante had no true intention of making her and the rest of the homunculi human, she defected from them. After first trying to kill Ed, Lust betrays Wrath and forms an alliance with Ed under the condition that he helps her become human and in exchange she would reveal to him the identity of their master.

It is here, for the purposes of this game, that she will be pulled from canon.

Roleplay Sample - Log:
Lust sat upon Gluttony's shoulder as they overlooked the town of Lior. Their plans were falling into place, and soon they would find the alchemist Father spoke of, the alchemist that would help them to achieve the Philosopher's Stone. With the stone, they would finally become human, the one thing Lust truly wanted above all else.

Gluttony looked up at her, frowning as his stomach growled.

"Lust, can I have one? Please! I'm so hungry!" He whimpered as he rubbed his hands over his stomach.

"No Gluttony. Not yet. But not to worry. Soon, you will feast upon their flesh, but you must be patient. Do you understand?"

Gluttony nodded solemnly, hanging his head.

Yes, soon they would receive their orders from Envy, instructing them on their next move. Just thinking about how it was falling into place brought a devilish grin to her face. She was ready.

Roleplay Sample - Journal:
We're close now. So close.. To obtaining the Philosopher's Stone. Why doesn't anyone get that I just want to be human.

[She paused, thinking.]

I was human once, after all. Many years ago. Granted, I don't remember very much about that time. Only that whoever tried to bring the human I once was back was utterly pathetic and a waste. [She laughed, the idea truly amusing to her.] Did they honestly think it would have been that easy?

Regardless, all the pieces are falling into place. Soon, I will have what I want. Soon.. I will be human. Even I must admit, I'm not exactly sure why I want this so much. It's like an invisible string pulling me into something I can't see or understand.

No matter. The others and I will get our wish. Father promised us that after all. He wouldn't lie to us.

[Even she wasn't reasurred by what she had said. She had her doubts about Father, but she kept them to herself. She was cautious, and rightfully so. After all, they can't let the stone fall into the wrong hands, not if they want their humanity.]
